Citizen Eyes

Citizen Eyes is an initiative by the Government of Meghalaya towards citizen participation
to address the various civic issues plaguing society. The app allows the citizen to register with his mobile number and provide his name and address during the first usage of the app.
The citizen can submit his complaints about the civic issues by selecting the available category, providing a description, and clicking a photo from the app. The app does not provide the provision for uploading from the gallery.
Once the grievance is submitted, they receive a complaint ID.
The app provides a provision to track the progress of the submitted grievance.
The officials assigned to resolve the grievance will receive notifications once a complaint is received. They can dispose of the complaint using the app. It also provides a feature whereby officials can intimate if the complaint resolution takes time.
The app provides service only for the Shillong region initially.
