2024-07-10 00:00:00 The Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica is the First Power of the Republic. In it the people delegate the power to legislate by means of suffrage. Its organization is in Title IX, chapter I of the Political Constitution. It is made up of 57 deputies, elected through the popular vote and according to the proportion of the population in the provinces. We believe that the work of the deputies must be made known by all the means at our disposal.
