Meteorological station of the Calar Alto Observatory (Almería - Spain)
The app shows the information offered by the meteorological station of the Hispanic Astronomical Center in Andalusia, Calar Alto Observatory in Almería (southern Spain). In addition, you can access the photos and timelapses that the outdoor cameras provide of the environment (especially interesting are the timelapses from the sky cameras during clear nights) and the graphs that show the trends of the weather sensors. The station is located in the Calar Alto Observatory at an altitude of 2168m, and at a distance in a straight line from Almería capital (and, therefore, from the sea) of about 50 km. Its geographical location is very interesting when it comes to knowing the meteorology prevailing in the place.
