Homescreen widget This is the primary feature I wanted from this project; a homescreen widget that shows the current albums cover art and reminds you to rate yesterdays album.
Easy external links When clicking the widget you get easy access to: - The album on the streaming platform of your choice - A link to the albums Wikipedia page - Easy access to open the 1001 albums website
Rate yesterdays album The app repeatedly pulls the latest albums, so you know when there's a new album available. You can click a rating on the widget and it will be prefilled on the website.
Notifications Get notifications when someone in your group rated their album of the day and see their rating inside the app
Companion app Shows the same data as the homescreen widget, together with the history of albums that you've listened to.
Todays album Shows the cover in a large format Album artist / title / year
History See album details, your rating and comments Easily access streaming links to your favorite albums. See your unrated and your 5⭐️ albums
