In the same exhibition, which is supplemented by the VR app, it comes to a combination of great policy with individual destinies. The starting point is the Agenda 2030, which was adopted by the UN, 2015. Their 17 goals for sustainable development ( "Sustainable Development Goals", shortly SDGs) constitute the global framework for environmental and development policy by 2030. But what specific dimensions of these objectives at the individual level? What can they mean for individual people and cause? The exhibition and the VR-app portray six elderly women from Tanzania. When "Silent Heroines" let them come to life, which can cause sustainable development: to grow old with dignity, intergenerational cohesion and sometimes surprisingly simple solutions in the challenging work on the scarce resources of soil, water and energy. From their example clearly shows how strongly the concerns of Agenda 2030 actually are. And how across borders and continents same the needs, fears and hopes of all people.

Features and functions of the app:
