Water, a source of life and an essential economic resource; iron, forged in ancient times and still worked today in the important settlements of the metallurgical industry in the valley; fire, fueled by the coals from the woods, which made it possible to melt, forge and move the locomotives that carried goods and tourists to Arsiero, but also that transported refugees, supplies and soldiers, when the noisy fire of the Great War spread its sad echo in this border area.
