Easily Manage and Track Your Accounts with Our App
Keep your accounts organized in custom lists. Add, edit, or delete accounts with ease, and use the search feature to quickly find any account. You can also bookmark your most important accounts for quick access by adding them to an active list. Looking for strong password suggestions? Access the 'Suggest Passwords' feature from the left-side menu to generate secure passwords. New feature is to add the actual password for the account. The password is encrypted. Use a passpharse to decrypt the password to show it.
Key Features:
Account Lists: View your accounts sorted by Corporation Name, Account ID, or Open Date. You can easily change the sort order via the menu in the top-right corner. Search results are filtered by Corporation Name, and bookmarks can be managed from the account lists themselves. Simply expand the dropdown icon next to any account to reveal additional actions like edit, delete, or bookmark.
Add & Edit Accounts: Use the plus icon at the bottom-right corner to add new accounts (available only on the full Account List). For existing accounts, click the pencil icon to make edits. All changes are validated for correct email and website formats. Use the built-in calendar to select or modify account dates.
Dropbox Backup & Restore: Securely back up your accounts in JSON format and restore them when needed using Dropbox. You'll need a Dropbox account to enable this feature. Simply access the Dropbox option from the top-right menu, sign in, and grant the necessary permissions. Your backup directory is located at accounts/accounts.json. This is temporarily disabled for Dropbox issue.
Password Generator: Create strong, easy-to-type passwords by accessing the 'Suggest Passwords' option from the left-side menu. Generated passwords include one number, one symbol, and one capital letter for added security. The app also ensures the password letters are convenient to type by grouping them according to left or right-hand keyboard zones. You can add or delete suggested passwords using the plus and trashcan icons.
Important Note: The generated passwords are not linked to your accounts in the app. To protect your data, it’s recommended that you maintain a separate list of Account IDs and passwords. For quick reference, you can search for the account, note its ID, and match it with your paper list to retrieve the password. Account IDs are assigned in numeric order, making it easier to find the corresponding account and password.
Password Encryption has the password with the accounts. You do need to remember the passphrase which is a easy remember phrase you decide on and you can use the same phrase for multiple accounts.
