Find fuel weight by given volume, density and Temperature
The Marine Fuel Converter program is very usefull for marine use (marine engineers, masters and bunker surveyors). You can find also the next editions on playstore. With this simple program you can calculate the quantity of fuel in metric tons. For calculations you must entry - the observed Volume (in cubic meter), - the density of fuel at 15oC (kg/m3) and - the observed Temperature (in oC). With fuel density at 15oC and Temperature the app calculates the coefficient of thermal expantion and from this the Volume Corrected Factor (VCF) based on ASTM international standards (Table 54B). After this, when the Volume is available the app calculate the weight (mass in metric tons) on air. This program is very simple but you use by your own responibillity.
