2025-08-21 00:00:00 Created as a collaboration between ASDENIC and the Frugal Innovation Hub at Santa Clara University, NicaAgua is a weather forecasting app intended to aid select communities located in Northern Nicaragua in preparing for and managing the country's rainy season. NicaAgua has a variety of weather forecast features, including both short-term and long-term forecasts. The app includes historical weather data provided by ASDENIC from a local weather station located in Estelí, Nicaragua. Additionally, the user can view short-term (up to 15 days) of forecasted precipitation or seasonal forecasts. Through the app, ASDENIC administrators can send users informative messages related to their community's weather.
