“DeA Cupra Digital & Arte” is an artistic-cultural valorization project
The Municipality of Cupra Marittima has launched the "Dea Cupra Digital & Arte", an artistic valorisation project financed by the Ministry of the Interior with the aim of building a path of growth and development of the territory on a cultural basis, increasing, diversifying and deseasonalizing tourist flows in the long term. This app represents one of the productions created in the "DeA Cupra Digital & arte" project together with a 360° promotional video of the territories, and a Mattterport survey of the archaeological area accessible via VR viewers. The app allows you to discover the artistic richness of the municipal area, through three different routes that connect the points of greatest cultural and tourist interest: • The archaeological Cupra, where both the peculiarities of the Civita area (the forum, the temple, etc.) and those of the complex of the Villa with Nymphaeum, not far from the archaeological area, are presented. • From Marina to Marano: a showcase of the medieval village of the city, still rich in artefacts despite the problems linked to the landslides of the place which led the population, in the 19th century, to move to the coast • Town Hall and Church: the new center of Cupra Marittima with the church of San Basso and Santa Margherita, a true treasure chest of beauty. The app also allows the use of AR reconstructions of two artefacts from the archaeological area, one of which is the head of the goddess Cupra which is the symbol of the City and of the entire project.
