2021-05-01 00:00:00 Golfing in Hechingen means a challenge for the ambitious player and pure visual pleasure for the nature lover. The hilly, yet easily accessible place merges with the surrounding fields and forests at the foot of the historic Hohenzollern Castle. Many railways offer idyllic views of the nearby Alb chain, parts of the city of Hechingen and of course the picturesque "Zollerburg". Our well-tended 18-hole championship course is divided into the so-called "Old Course", whose park-like facility with old trees and typical juniper heather goes back to the founding year of the Hechingen-Hohenzollern Golf Club, 1955, and the "New Course". If the "Alte Platz" (lanes 1-6 and 16-18) is hilly and playfully very challenging, the nine fairways of the "Neue Platz" are flatter and wider. But be careful: High rough and water hazards quickly punish the reckless player ...
