This app compares measured lighting levels to referenced lighting levels.
This is a simple, fast and easy to read app for referencing measured lux levels against common indoor and outdoor lux levels. Lightcompare is an illuminance (lux) measurement app to allow approximate comparisons between real time illuminance (lux) levels to standard lighting scenarios. An example would be comparing measured floodlighting at a sports event to daylighting conditions. The app readings are not intended for commercial, regulatory, scientific or accurate readings of illuminance levels. Accurate illuminance readings should be carried out using a calibrated professional illuminance meter. Lightcompare App allows two calibration factors to be stored for different lighting scenarios and source types. Lightcompare App should be tested and calibrated against a calibrated professional illuminance meter. Readings are rounded up or down to nearest decimal place as per display. Light sensing characteristics may vary for different phone types. Note individual phones may have a maximum illuminance measuring limit under maximum daylight conditions which may effect readings in the higher range.
