The mobile app is a tool for evaluating obstacles and features that are favorable to walking and active transportation. Pedestrianship makes it easy to collect, analyze and share accurate data on the pedestrian potential and usability of any chosen route or territory, according to the varied needs of pedestrians.

Based on the mapping of Google, the appPassage has a great flexibility of use according to the chosen territory and facilitates data entry and processing. With the help of geolocation, it allows an accurate analysis of pathways from the point of view of the pedestrian, from the macro scale to a fine scale and from multiple crossings of variables.

By their standardized method, the electronic forms of Gassing allow to analyze all aspects of the physical layout of a sector. Gathering has an observation grid of more than 100 scientifically validated indicators covering 5 major themes:
 
• Crossings and street corners at intersections
• Pedestrian corridors at street sections
• Cycle lanes and access to public transit
• Urban functions and buildings
• Atmosphere, landscape and urban security

The information collected in the field with the appPassage is placed in a multi-user relational database via the web platform of the tool. It allows the selection of territory, the linking of the indicators, for an overall portrait or predetermined results, and the creation of queries for all the areas audited.
