2024-07-12 00:00:00 "Fescan-SVILS 1.0" is an application that the Federation of Associations of Deaf People of Cantabria (FESCAN) makes available to deaf people who have requested interpretation services in sign language so that, if they so wish, these can be covered remotely through a video interpreting service, enabling FESCAN to attend to a greater number of interpreting services in the area of ​​its autonomous community by eliminating travel times that Sign language interpreters have to routinely perform for this type of service. In this way, the access of deaf people to face-to-face services of both the public administration and private entities is favored, guaranteeing them equal opportunities and their personal autonomy in their daily lives. This App has been conceived and designed for use on smartphones and tablets with Android 4.X or higher operating system that have a front camera.
