eChama is a digital record management tool for small informal saving groups
eChama manages the transactions of an informal savings group, also known as chamas. Features include Recording of different types of transactions such as Contributions, Loan Requests, Loan Repayments, Interest Repayments and Fines. Each member can see group transaction and therefore there is transparency in the group. Notifications are sent helping members to remember to make contributions. Detailed reports are available to view and download in PDF format Robust group configuration options allowing admins to set up features that best serve their groups. Use of notifications to send messages to all group members The app allows creation of other groups, meaning through the same application a member can belong to different groups.
