Integration-crop-livestock-forest (ILPF) is a production strategy that integrates different productive, agricultural, livestock and forestry systems within the same area. It can be done in intercropped cultivation, in succession or in rotation, so that there is mutual benefit for all activities. This form of integrated system seeks to optimize land use, raising productivity levels, diversifying production and generating quality products. This reduces the pressure on opening new areas.
