Application with a geospatial database to collect information in the field
Application aimed at the general public for field data collection, including the high resolution image mosaic Rapideye that were acquired by the Ministry of Environment for the entire country. By using the AgroTag application (default), the user contributes to compose a database of fundamental situations for Brazilian agriculture, such as the adoption of low carbon technologies. The AgroTag System is an initiative of Embrapa and the Multi-institutional Platform for Monitoring Reductions of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Agriculture (Platform ABC) to support the structuring of the Collaborative Network for the Use and Coverage of Land and Agricultural Productive Systems and Forestry. It is Embrapa's first multi-task geospatial platform and one of the first initiatives in Geotechnologies in the world for monitoring the reduction of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs).
